Studon Electric & Controls is a leading electrical and instrumentation company in Red Deer Alberta. For this project, titled "StuNET", we worked closely with their team to design and develop an intranet solution to fit their need to share a large amount of data with employees and contractors spread out over a large geographical area. Most would be accessing the system via 3g or satellite internet connections from trucks or on job sites.

The web based system allows an administrator to manage user access, including granting editing permission to particular users to manage their own portion of the system. Calendars, staff profiles and streaming video tools were included and fully managed by the client without the need for a web developer.

The web application was built in .NET, mySQL and utilized AJAX to create a feature rich user experience. FLV video files are created on the fly from various source video files uploaded to the server by the client.
