Blog : Our Development Process | Part 4 - Launch!
Show time! This exciting step requires a well planned process to go smoothly.
This is the final part of our explaination of our typical development process. In part 1 we discussed
the planning process.
In part two, we looked at the
build phase.
In part three we covered
testing. Finally, at this point of the process, we are ready to go live.
This is often part of an integrated communications roll-out, and so our clients have control of exactly when their new site or app goes live.
In addition to releasing your project on the live servers of the internet, we also typically will engage in some SEO related tasks at this point as well, such as:
- Submitting your website to Google and Bing's index.
- Submitting a sitemap.xml file.
- Mentioning it in our blog, Twitter and/or website! After all, the best way to help your site become well known is to link to it.
With a website or online app, the final product is never truly final. We will be available to analyze and tweak your site as often as you wish.
And that's it! I hope this has helped you to understand a little bit more about our process and what you can expect when you work with us. If you have any questions, as always please don't hesitate to
contact us anytime.
